Secret Sunday

Good Morning everyone! To every one who is new to this, Secret Sunday is a place where you get to share your secrets anonymously. Picture of the Day {Moon}

As you may or may not know, I love taking pictures of the moon. It just makes me feel so connected with everything beyond our planet, Earth. The moon is gorgeous and I love being able to examine all the craters and markings. Every once in a while, I will go outside and just stare at the moon. I always think to myself, "Someday."

Best Friends Forever!

Three days ago, I got invited to go to six flags with my best friend, Paola. Sadly, I couldn't go, because I didn't have a season pass and I also couldn't afford it. But then, two days ago Paola called my mom and asked if Liam and I could go with them to a BBQ! I was so excited, and Liam was too! We left at 12:30ish and when we got there we went straight into the pool! We had to take a short test first to make sure we could swim. Paola and I, of course, both passed, but sadly her goggles broke. She has to wear them because of her contacts. We ended up looking for this tiny, see-through piece of her goggles for like half and hour. Eventually, we gave up and she just tied her goggles. I think that would have been way easier then looking for hours for this itty bitty little piece. So we swam and swam until our food was ready! The food was so delicious! There was steak, potatoes, fruit, salad, some other meat thing i could not define, chips, and my top favorite, shrimp!!! Yummy!!!!!!! Afterwards, we got dry completely and then played basketball and soccer. It was tons of fun! The last thing we did was go on a short hike, and  I am not kidding when I mean short. It was like 10 minutes! It was cut short, because it was time to go and it was almost 7! We rode on this little "trolly" to go to are car, and we sat in the luggage area. It was fun, but the lady was  a crazy driver!!! Thank gosh we didn't slide out the back! Here is a picture of us in the bumpy trolly.

Once we got off the trolly, we packed all of our stuff into the car and, I took a silly picture of Liam and his new best friend, Rodrigo.

Paola then came to my house and we had sleepover!! I was excited, because we haven't had one since my birthday party! We had serious talks about so many things! I loved it and I was glad that Paola agreed and understood my thinking. We had dinner, and then went inside and played boggle until 2 in the morning! We are sooooo obsessed with that game! It is the best game ever! WE finally stopped, because our brains were turning to mush. We talked for another hour and then we fell asleep.
I love you Paola! You are the bestest best friend ever! You are so sweet and funny! I cannot wait for our next sleepover!

One of My Many Projects

So recently, I went to my moms work, and grabbed TONS of magazines. I then got inspired my my old project here, and then did something new!

 1. I got this notebook for my birthday, but I didnt know what to do with it 'til now.

 2. These are the magazine I used.

 3.I cut up all the magazines, and spread all the little things that I love on my bed.

 4. This is what a blank page looks like.

5. This is the first page completed!
I love it so much! It is a book of everything that I love or is special to me. I might, also, add notes from friends and little journal entries! What do you guys think? Weird or awesome?

Hi everyone. I just wanted to say that I am sorry. You are probably highly confused why I said that. I am sorry, because I have to tell you something. My Dream {Taylor Swift}

Hey everyone! i just wanted to tell you guys about my dream last night, but first I have to explain to you where it came from. So, yesterday I finished Cannery Row, the book I was reading. It was quite boring, but there is nothing really you can do about that. In one part of the book, these two guys were talking about a parade that happens every year. Apparently that parade is very boring. I think the parade connects to my dream some how, though I have no clue why. Anyways, here is my dream:

The story goes is that it is forth of july. I am in another city getting ready to watch the parade. I was kind of in a bummer mood since I knew the parade was going to be the same as always and boring. The parade started and I sat there on the side of the rode with a whole bunch of other people. After the mayor, council members, band, and all the parade people went by, people were starting to leave in the back. But for some reason I stayed. There was still a lot of people though. Then out of no where people, including myself, started screaming. Taylor Swift was in the parade! She was handing out guitar picks with her face on them! I was completely dieing! I was freaking out so bad! Then she gave me some picks and then threw me something else! I don't remember what it was exactly but I was so stoked! I could not believe what was happening! Then out of the blue, she looked right at me and waved! I was in such shock! It was amazing!

So anyways, that was my dream! I woke up and had a smile from ear to ear! I was so excited and happy even though it was only a dream! I loved it! And what is funny is that I actually have her guitar picks! I love them so much ! I got them for Christmas two years ago! So, ya. That dream put me in a really enlightened spirit! I loved all my excitement!

Sorry my Picture of the Day was late today. I was at my great grandfathers memorial in Sacramento. It was very beautiful. I will miss you Great Grandpa Ed and Great Grandma Elli. You will always be in my heart. I love you!

Picture of the Day {Praying Mantis}

Boy, are there a bunch of praying mantises just hanging around at my house lately. It just happens that this one comes with a story! A very short story!
So my mom, Liam and I went walked around Briones and then came back to this little guy in a cob web. My mom thought he just ate a spider. Which that part of the story is unknown. Anyways, we went inside not thinking twice about him, and had lunch, read a little bit, and then went back out side  to find him still there. My mom look a closer look. The praying mantis was STUCK in the web. His legs were completely entwined in the web. My mom tried to get him out but the web was particularly, very sticky. My parents and I think it was a black widow web. BLECH! After a few minutes we got him out and all of his legs were still intact. I felt proud that we saved this little guy!
Well anyways, that was my mini story to make you happy! I love you guys!

Picture of the Day {My Pin Board}

I dont know exactly what this is called, but I think it is called a pin board. This board and its contents mean a lot to me. There are pictures on it, which carry lots of memories. I love them, and when I look at them, they make me smile. I have a letter from my friend, Hailey, on there too. I also have lists, such as my summer goals and book I want to read. I have a photo of my 8th grade class and I also have a bunch of ribbons from swim team. Yes, I know. Even though they are from sixth/seventh grade, I still cherish them with all my heart. Also, recently, I made a phone holder. It is a little pocket thing that I put on my wall. It holds my phone so I dont lose it. I wonder how long that will last. ;)

An Update on My life... Melissa Update!

Hailey is one of my best friends. We tell each other everything and share so many of the same interests. We both love photography, clothes, blogging, and baking. And that is just to name a few. We both work together all the time to make the best blogs and websites we can possibly make.  This is her blog: haileyforever.blogspot.com. Forth of July

I apologize for this post being so late, but I have been quite busy with chores and schoolwork. But, now I can post a lot today, even though I have very few pictures right at the moment. So,This post is about the forth of July. That day was very fun. My family and I went to 2 parties and the parade!
The parade started at 9 in the morning and went on for 2 and a half hours. It was kind of exciting more this year, because to of my friends were in it, Morgan and Larissa. Good job Morgan for the cute dance you did with Studio A! I loved it and I was screaming your name. Haha, I don't think you heard me. Also, great job Larissa for cheering and being a flyer for our College Park Cheer! Woot Woot! I yelled your name too, but you didn't hear me. Though, I am still glad we got to talk afterwards!
A little while later after the parade ended, our annual neighborhood BBQ started! I am so glad every one like our food we brought! It was gone super fast! It was fun, even though i got so stinking wet. Thanks Evan and Kiara for hitting me with water balloons. I had to change, because I was completely soaked.
I, then, went to my Aunts house, and had our second party. There were threeadorable puppies there that I was playing with the whole time. There was also baby Annabella, who I was playing with. At the end, we said our goodbyes, and came back to our neighborhood party.
A little while later, my friend, Emma, came to the party! I got to hang out with her until fireworks started. My neighbor got sparklers and baby fireworks. They were a bunch of fun and I got some photos of them. We even got some that shout in the sky and exploded. I t was a little scary and a little cool. It was scary, because it was windy. After all of the mini fireworks were done, the fireworks from College Park started going. All the little kids started running into the street to see them. Everyone was ooooohing and ahhhing. It was really cute. So that was my Forth of July of 2012! I hope you guys had a great Forth of July too! Love you!

Tahoe is Inspirational

Last week, I went to Tahoe with Liam, Nana, Opa,and there dog, Buddy. I had such a blast! We didnt do much, but it was enough to satisfy me until my next camping trip. My mom didnt want me to take my camera there, but I would not give up the chance to take picture of the beautiful Lake Tahoe. Once we got there, I was so excited and overwhelmed, I had no clue what picture to take first!  Here are some out of the hundreds:

 I went on a walk and found a huge ant hill! It was made from a tree stump. My Opa's friend kicked it and a whole bunch of ants poured out!

 We were driving to Echo Lake, when we saw this TP. We had stop and take pictures. It was surprisingly very cool.

 There is still snow on the mountains! Also, This is my first black and white with this camera! I think.

 My family and I went to the Lake once, and that is all it took. I took over 300 pictures of just Lake Tahoe and it's beach.

 Liam said he saw something big jump on him., but it was actually a bug. So then, I started looking for things on the ground, and this is what I came across.  A FROGGY!!!!!
